Sima Kalmens: I am a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Hispanic Language and Literature at Boston University. I was born in wintry Russia and moved to equally wintry Chicago when I was four. Boston can get pretty snowy too, but I love it. I love traveling and learning about new cultures and languages; I hope that globe trotting will somehow contribute to my life in many positive, wonderful ways. In my free time, when I am not thinking about my next travel destination or my debt-laden future, I enjoy singing, shopping, and cooking for my family and friends.
